Schlappeseppel Weißbier ist wegen der Verwendung des "schalenlosen" Weizenmalzes (es fehlen die Hüllsubstanzen, die das Gerstenmalz hat) ein sehr weiches Bier. Spezielle obergärige Reinzuchthefe verleiht dem Weißbier fruchtiges bis blumiges Aroma. Durch den höheren Kohlensäuregehalt entsteht bei behutsamem Einschenken die schöne und voluminöse Weißbier Schaumkrone.

50 cl. bottle @ the apartment in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, bought @ a local supermarket. Hazy dark yellow with a thick creamy white head. Banana and cloves aroma. Creamy mouth feel and sweet taste. A solid hefe weizen.

0,5l bottle at home shared with gf. BB 02/2016. orange quite hazy / light cloudy color, rather big white head. smells ripe fruits, spices, peach, light sweetness, banana, some tobacco, a bit of grass, OKish smell. medium body, bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. has a very light taste, at first a lot of carbonation is noticeable, after it clears there is not so much taste left over. tastes of spices, peach, lightly citric, yeast, some light hop notes, grass, tobacco. finishes lightly dry with notes of grass and spices. the first 3 sips the taste was very watery, but with subsequent sips it gets a lot better. Overall decent beer.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow orange color, medium to full sized quickly diminishing off-white head. Smell and taste like so many Hefe Weizen do: wheat, sweetness, hint of banana and candy. Decent body and carbonation.

Color y espuma típicas del estilo. Poca banana en el aroma, predominando especias. Igual que en el sabor, muy agradable, también especiado, sobre todo el típico clavo. Amargor justo, y súper bebible. Francamente buena

Süßlich-hefiger Geruch mit schöner bananig-dunkler Farbe. Der Antrunk ist würzig-hefig. Zum Hauptteil wird das Bier hefig-säuerlich mit leicht herbem Einschlag, der sich weiter in den Nachgeschmack hält. Hefig-mild und citronig-säuerlich. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine sauer-hefige Note mit ganz leichter Herbe.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelgoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, leicht würzig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

Klar darf ein Weizen nicht fehlen. Dieses erfüllt den durstlöschenden, erfischenden Aufrag ganz gut, ist aromentechnisch etwas weniger präsent als manche Konkurenzprodukte. Es hat nette Fruchtnoten, aber diese könnten wie das gaze Bier, ruhig etwas voller und runder sein.

Pours a hazy golden with adequate creamy head. Expected aromas of bubblegum, banana and bread. Taste is right on target with small lingering on the palate. Mouthfeel and weight are perfect. Good effort from this brewery who brews multiple styles.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a large frothy head. Aroma is musky yeast. Flavour is spicy yeast with a lively tang on the palate. Finish is light caramel.
