Thnx to Koen . Pours dark purple red. Medium small, white head. Smell is full and intense, dry, red fruits. Mild tartness underneath. Taste is full, tart, dry, noticable fleshyness by the fruits. Very nicely balanced, buttery ( no diacetyl) notes. Nice tart background.

An Oxford tasting, corked bottle
Very dark blood color, dark pink head. Deep aroma of cooked berry and smoked sausage. Highly carbonated, quite dry and sour, strong berry character, a bit earthy, salty. Good.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark pinkish purple with a small pink head. Aroma is rather earthy, with boysenberry skins, light earth and a hint of vanilla. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart boysenberries, light earth, and vanilla. Tart, dry and earthy finish. Not particularly complex. Decent.

Deep purple, with a purple head. The aroma is light fruit. Tart, lots of fruit, and with a light toastiness. This is an interesting beer. There's some light fruity notes, with a decent tartness.

Sample during "Hillary’s Portland to Columbus Beer & Birthday Bash!" on 01/20/2018. Dark purplish-red color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. Aroma of tart berry, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, tart boysenberry, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is sweet-tart berries and oak. Good beer all around.
