Amber to brown in colour. Aroma is sweet like canned fruit cocktail in syrup. Tastes of sugary fruits, caramel and saccharine.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a beige medium-sized frothy head. Mildly sugary toast-malty aroma with slightly nutty notes, caramel, cacao and shy fruity accents. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly toasted and slightly sugary malt character with hints of caramel, cacao and subtle fruity notes as well as a slightly spicy edge; sweet malty and slightly bitter finish, again with subtle fruity and slightly spicy notes and an extremely well-covered alcoholic strength. Likeable “tanned” Triple. 29.X.15

Tripel with sticky, off-white, stable head and deep orange blonde colour, hazy. The aroma has the same amount of elderberry flowers as the original Toetëlèr Wit, caramel, honey, peach, yeast. Fruity taste, honeyish malt sweetness, caramelly, subtle elderberry blossom showing up retronasally with a bit refreshing, perfumed effect, mild hop bitter in the finish but rather brief. In all, an interesting spice beer rather than a classic tripel.
