Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Bottle, 12oz. It pours a very dark brown body and a dense, light beige head. Lacings. The aroma is rather chocolatey, with some roasted malts and coffee. Quite dry on the palate, yet with a good sweetness in the flavor. Soft and pleasant carbonation, a bit thin though. But of course, at less than 5% ABV, I don’t complain. Dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the flavor, finishing with mostly dark chocolate. Especially considering the ABV, this is a really pleasant one. 130819

Lighter dark pour. no head. Weak nose, hints of oatmeal, burnt sugars and something else...not sure what. ugh. Okay, huge liquid smoke taste. No oatmeal at all on the taste and no sweetness at all. Chocolate is very weak.

I actually really enjoyed this one. Really potent tastes of funk and oat. Smell has some serious oat in it too. Pours with a nice foamy mocha head but tracing is only ok. I really appreciate the oatmeal aspect in this one. Bottle from Health Food Store in Lebanon, NH.
