Real vanilla beans from Madagascar combined with caramel and Munich malts create a beer that’s balanced and flavorful. Aromas of vanilla and toasted grain set the stage for mellow flavors of vanilla and dark roasted malts. Don’t let its deep mahogany color fool you. Vanilla Porter is dark in color and packed with flavor, yet it is as smooth as they come and easy to enjoy at any time of the year.

Really tasty, well balanced 5.4% porter. The nose features chocolate milk, vanilla, roasted malt and vanilla. Lots of the same in a nice creamy mix in the taste profile. Touches of coffee, caramel, almonds and other nuts, and tea round out a smooth taste experience. A really nice brew. It’s obviously hard to get good ratings with the ratebeer crowd unless you are a hop bomb or an Imperial Stout. Pity.

Draught at Zeezicht Breda. Opaque black color, thick dense Micha colored head. Aroma is malts, cocoa powder. Flavor is malts, dark malts, cocoa powder, a bit dusty, distant vanilla but perhaps because it was served very cold. Decent to medium body and decent carbonation. Quite nice.

Runder, vanillig malziger Beginn. Weich, etwas Schokolade, hohe Süffigkeit. Wenig Kaffee, zunehmend herb, mittellanger Abgang, konstant nach Vnaille. Gut. 9/11/10/10/10/10

Lichte body, teveel koolzuur. Zeer matig.
