Bottled 330ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Slight hazy amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, malty fruity nose. Moderate malty, quite bitter fruity hoppy, light notes of candy sugar and some weak alcohol with pleasant dry grapefruity finish and aftertaste. Let’s say IPA by the book.

Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger, as Mikkeller 20 Hops. Hazy deep orange colour. Fairly moderate hoppy aroma, hints of orange marmalade. Distinctly hoppy flavour with some "unfresh" malty notes, seems unbalanced. Not my favourite this one.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Bierfestival Mechelen 2014. Dark amber orange, creamy white head. Nose is in the herbal, medicinal hop spectrum, light grapefruit, thick malty, almost touch cough syrup malts. Taste is oily bitter herbal hops, peel, faint cough syrup malts, bitter pine, faint medicinal, caramel. Oily bitter body. Not really what I look for in an IPA, okay still ‘though.

Expensive 33cl bottle pours with a murky deep copper body that supports a light tan head of clingy foam. The aroma offers up candy like citrus and mango and peach as well as sweet lime cotton candy. The taste begins with hard candy citrus hop notes and a bit of minerals before a pleasing degree of grapefruit and lime and tangerine hop bitterness takes hold and rights this IPA ship. The fruity hop bitterness hangs in there into the finish along with snippets of the sweet fruity hard candy notes. Pretty nice.
