A coffee oatmeal porter brewed in collaboration with Duration Brewing Co and Rave coffee. This beer has a lovely chocolatey porter base, on top of which we conditioned 16kg of freshly roasted Honduras Clave Del Sol whole beans - freshly roasted for the day by the lovely people at Rave coffee. Smooth chocolate goodness with some bright raspberry and praline coming through from the coffee.

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of coffee, toffee, butterscotch which segues nicely into the flavour.

Keg. Pours hazy dark, thin tan head. Chocolate on the nose. Taste similarly heavy on chocolate, smooth texture with dark malts. No description on the board, so didn't know it was a coffee porter, and didn't jump out enough for me to note while I was drinking. Nice, moderately sweet chocolate porter anyway.

On tap at Deya Taproom. Pours black with a small beige head, long lasting. Loads of coffee roast on the nose, milk chocolate, hint of smoke. Taste follows suit with a big hit of coffee and milky chocolate, roast malts, lactose, vanilla, again a slight hint of smoke in the bitter roasty coffee finish. Medium bodied, mouthfeel is incredibly smooth, creamy, velvety, carbonation is soft. Easily the best dark beer Deya have done so far, hope they continue down this path.
