Bottle sample at a tasting at avrashi's place. Cloudy yellow, white head. Fruity hops, vegetables, minerals, weird bitterness. Not good.

440ml can. Hazy golden with a huge creamy white head. Aroma is uncannily like coconut, floral, herbal, citrus. Taste is likewise really coconutty, pineapple, citrus, floral and herbal, a little spicy even, sweet malts, light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. I was unfamiliar with gorse prior to this but I am already a fan, thought it was a lovely addition to the beer.

440ml can from Vinomondo, Conwy. Pours gold with a light mist, large frothy white topping. Aroma has indeed a pleasant bouquet of pineapple-like notes from the gorse. Taste is quite a sugary floral affair, with additional pineapple, grapefruit and distant pine needles. Some fleeting sugary marzipan moments. Yeah, pretty well executed this, didn't expect so much fruity gorse flavours.

Half pint on cask at Hopbunker. Shared with Finn. Patchy white head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Cloudy, golden body. Lemony hops on the nose, dry. Ripe citrus fruity flavours followed by a bittersweet fruity ending. Fine depth to it. Satisfying. (Cardiff 03.10.2018).
