Venloosch Wit is de ultieme combinatie van de volmondige smaak van gemoute gerst, tarwe en haver met een subtiele hint van citrus. Dit maakt Venloosch Wit tot het perfecte bier voor alle seizoenen. Een witbier met een zeer fijn aroma en frisse afdronk. Mild gehopt, maar zeker doordrinkbaar. Niet te bitter met een stevige schuimstabiliteit en een mooi egale troebeling. Bier met een mooie citrus toets van sinaasappelschil en een licht milde kruidigheid van koriander.

From tap at Arendsnest. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, light spiced and estery. Bitter, herbal and light coriander spiced. Mild estery too. Medium dry and light herbal into the finish.

On tap at Café Heffer. Hazy greenish yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, some butter and coriander. Flavour is light buttery, citrus, light spicy with coriander, some wheat, CO2 sourness. Very thin and watery.

2010-01-13, gift from friend in Holland, Göteborg 10 C ppored like wit should be pored - with force (didn’t do the Hoogaarden shake) AR: wee plesent yeasty aroma, citrus AP: cloudy honey colored body, creamy head slowly diminishing F: yeasty, spicy (turmeric), chimical tones of cauliflower, dry finish

Bottle 30cl.Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, cardboard, paper, light to moderate yeasty, citrus, spicy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, tea. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20091004]

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy yellow with a firm white head. Citrusy and spice aroma - not really coriander though. Medium body, dry and yeasty with accents of tea! Dry and almost astringent. A very different take on a Belgian Wit - but quite fresh. 041009
