On tap at the Bag O'Nails, Bristol, 15 July 2018 as part of a Dark Revolution tap takeover. Dark brown in colour, with a moderately-sized, beige, head. Dark chocolate, some toastiness, rich malts and some chilli warmth in the finish. Good.

20th Nov 2017. Shrewsbury Beer Share Group Meeting in Chez Sophie. Cheers Mike for this 330ml bottle: he likes his chili/hot beers does Mike. This one was a lot more subtle in it's hotness compared to some, so this was an easy drinking Porter with just a hint of peppery heat below the smokiness of the brew. Almost liked it!

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 17, courtesy of Mike. Many thanks! Pours dark, small tan head. Lovely aroma of dark malts, some chili. Taste has a soft chili kick but mostly about those lovely dark smoked malts. Nice.
