So, another notorious ellicot on the chatauqua. Bottle in a stang with a neutral aroma. Is this a session, er what? You know, IPA is supposed to be big ass BS? Cloudy pale with a big rude backward first taste impression. Big nasty terribly astringent rude donkey pointed hops. Smack dab in yer face. You know, anything less than 5% in IPA form today is considered light duty. Yes, session, on target, right up my back and down the side. Its cloudy pale BTW, like a vanilla yellah envelope. Almost looks like a hefe, but not quite. In the end, the head grows rather craggy and that rude azz IPA taste almost becomes acceptable. There, you have it! Hey, where is that citrus tangy thang? Couldn't find it. Just bitter astringent IPA hops all round. Personally I think nasty IPA is actually green grapefruit rind and far from ripe lime peel, anyway. Frikken arrogant bullshiest.

Bottle from Oliver’s Beverage Center. Pours hazy orange with large foamy off-white head, grapefruit peel aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter grapefruit, lime, pineapple taste, thin body, long bitter finish, A nice IPA.

12 oz bottle from Wegmans, Ithaca. Pours murky, bright orange in color, frothy head. Pretty much what you’d expect from the description, with the grapefruit rind coming through much moreso than the lime. Light malty backbone / sweetness. Light and easy drinking. This beer is fine, but fairly forgettable.

Keg at Cole’s - Buffalo. Pours clear orange with a foamy, white head. Fairly malty, with definite caramel, sweet malts, pine, leaves. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. More sugary malts in the finish, jammy citrus, pine. A bit heavy-handed and outdated.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a murky golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was faint citrus. The flavor was very bitter and tart with an orange presence. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.
