On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - amber red. Nice head. Nose - red fruits and biscuits. Taste - more red fruit, hint of prunes and cherry stone. But quite astringent. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture. Gnarly finish. Overall - best of a bad bunch this evening.

Cask @ Philharmonic, Liverpool. Clear copper with a small head. Mildly malty bitter and easy enough drinking. Has a low to medium bitterness.

I think Mr Vader would have been å bit upset with this one. Not very dark, and not that powerful either.
Nice clear amber color with å fine thick (and lasting) tan head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a mellow carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Bready, fruity and herbal flavor. Not to inviting stuff. The Empire will be after you with fury.
