Inspiré par cette parole de tonnelier, nous avons imaginé la Coup de Grâce Cognac Imperial Stout, une bière suave et chaleureuse à la robe sombre et aux reflets bruns ardents, révélant de fines notes de malts chocolat, des saveurs vanillées, de caramel d’abricot et de fruits confits; héritage aromatique issu de son mûrissement en barriques de Cognac.

Bottle at home, from La Cave a Bulles, 27th January 18. Pours black, some head. Aroma is liquorice, cocoa, barrel, some cognac. Taste is very well integrated, dark bitter chocolate, wood, barrel, liquorice, dry liquor, cognac, not too sweet, interesting and well executed BA impy.

Bottle from Côté Vignoble, Dol de Bretagne, Normandy, France, consumed at Fairport Annual Reunion, Wednesday 9th August 2017 Soft in the mouth, a little treacle, roasty, it’s not boozy, it’s really smooth, coffee, dark chocolate vanilla combination, good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
