Inspired by the Bavarian region of Hallertau; arguably the largest continual hop growing area in the world. In this lager we use six hop varieties, from both the old and new world, but all with connections to the Hallertau region giving a distinctive flavour and lingering, refreshing bitterness.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, bready malts, cereal, cracker and touch of melon. The taste is dry, decent hit of bitterness, grassy, toasty grain, straw, bit floral, lemon peel, pithy, minerals and some spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Comes acrosa a bit grainy on the taste. Fine enough lagerbier, but there are better out there.

Bottle thanks to Paula. Appearance - golden amber, lightly hazy. Thin but decent head. Nose - big on malt. Biscuit and light spice. Taste - spiced biscuit. Light astringent malt. A hint of burnt bread. Palate - light bodied and crunchy through the middle and end. Overall - probably should've been loaded on RB as a Vienna or Helles or Premium lager.
