Bottle from beerhive. Nose is super Coffee, matches the color. Palate is intense coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, some citrus. This made me actually say woah out loud. This is crazy amounts of coffee. Works well though!

Bottle picked up at Cork & Cask, Edinburgh. It pours jet black with a medium light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark fruit, plum, fruit cake, coffee, slightly charred, chocolate cake and toasted spice. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, wood, coffee actions, dark fruits, peppery spice, tannin and toasted walnut with a drying and toasty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Nice aroma, but the taste is a bit chewy. Fine.

On tap at Summer Beer Festival, Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Comes with a nice black and opaque color a very nice off-white head. Looks like a huge espresso - and smells like that. Aromas of roasted malts, intense coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is more dark chocolate then strong coffee. Nice malty notes, some nuts. Dry finish with sweet notes..

Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Sold as Wandering #1. Almost black in colour, tanned top. Huge coffee aroma, not so strong in the taste: joined by some chocolate flavours in the sadly, rather thin body.

On cask at SRAF. Appearance - dark brown to black. No head. Nose - molasses and light charcoal. Taste - fennel weirdly. Then dry molasses. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - weird green note. Good though.
