Bottle @ Don’t want anything to do with carnaval tasting. Clear reddish-brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet, brown sugary. Average body and carbonation. Drinkable.

Bottle @ benzai’s carnaval. Dark amber to ruby colour with a small white head. Smells sweet, malts, hay. Tastes malts, sweet, non-alcoholic malt beverage. Medium body, soft carbo.

Flasche (50 cl), erstanden am Flughafen Pjöngjang. - Tiefes Kastanienbraun mit rubinroter Tönung, klar. - Typische Bockbiernase mit schwerer Malzsüße und zurückhaltender (untergäriger) Fruchtnote, Trockenpflaumen, Waldhonig. - Antrunk glatt und süß mit Rosinen und Pflaumen, grundiert von milder holziger Herbe. Die schwere dunkle Malzsüße wird durch die elegante milde Herbe perfekt ausbalanciert. Durchschnittlich rezent, voller malziger Körper mit deutlicher alkoholischer Schwere. Mild holzig-herber Abgang, bei dem Hopfen nur angedeutet ist. - Anständiger Doppelbock, betont malzsüß aber nicht klebrig, schön rund trotz gedämpfter Hopfenpräsenz.

Süßlich malziger Antrunk, süffig mit geringer hintergründiger Herbe. Die eher trockene Malzigkeit gefällt, die Süße steht hinten an. Vollmundig, etwas schokoladig, zum Ende könnte es sogar etwas süßer sein. Runder malziger Doppelbock. 9/11/10/10/8/10

Bottle from Keller Meister, Lincoln. Deep Ruby brown with a tan head. Aroma dark stewed fruit and toffee, taste sweet to light bitter finish.

Bottle sample at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, honey, toast, dark bread. Sweet flavor with malt, nice toastiness, caramel, honey, a fruity note, and a drier bitterish finish. Medium-bodied, quite rounded. A decent Doppelbock.

Bottle. Dark brown with a light white head. Aroma is dusty malt and a little alco. Flavour is figs and plum, wood and bready on a strong sweet fruit finish.
