On tap during Summer Beer Festival at Bow Bar Edinburgh. Comes with a hazy, golden amber color an a very nice off-white head. Aromas of blood-orange and lemon, followed by grassy hops. Taste is bitter fruity. Orange zest and citric flavors, hints of herbal flavors. Dry, but refreshing. Nice fruity-bitter finish.

Can from Taste of Grampian. It pours cloudy / murky deep orange with a bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, quite spicy upfront, ginger, floral, tomato, sweet orange and tangy marmalade. The taste is crisp, dry, tart fruits, loads of ripe blood orange, lemon sherbet, green apple skin, pithy, zesty, straw, orange blossom and a touch of spice. Finish is dry and orangey. Quite vibrant and flavoursome. Good work.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy amber brown. Not much head. Looks like a puddle. Nose - definitely blood orange straight off. Some light spice and dried lemon from the saison yeast. Taste - white pepper and candied orange. Fresh orange juice finish. Palate - light to medium bodied. There’s a tangy middle section that continues through the finish. Overall - good, even if it didn’t look so good.
