Sampled on draft at Hough’s this beer poured a hazy red color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy with a hint of vinegar and faint berries. The flavor was tartish and a bit jammy with vague berry, cardboard and a bit of artificial sugar. Medium length berry and jam finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

On tap. Pours a clear red with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet, fruity aroma of raspberries with a hint of tartness. Sweet flavour of raspberries, Belgian yeast and wheat malt with a dry, tart, slightly acidic, boozy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice fruit beer.

Bomber from Malt and Vine. Pours translucent pinkish gold with a whiteish head. Raspberry aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is raspberry, but there’s a "strange" alternate flavor as well. Maybe it’s Belgian yeast doing something. It is fairly dry, even getting a bit astringent. Certainly drinkable, but it’s not as pleasing as I hoped.

22 oz. bottle, pours a pinkish amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out raspberries, some Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Flavour is complex, with Belgian yeast, candied sugar, alcohol and raspberries. Really great mix of elements that are quite complex together. Excellent stuff.

Draught at Sunset Grill, 2/13/16.
Peachy-amber with a light raspberry tint to it and small, pink-flecked head with moderate to low retention.
Raspberries are ripe, juicy/jammy and quite prominent in the nose. Lots of vanilla, wheat and light caramel behind them, with strong esters and a touch of sharpness be it from the raspberry acids and/or yeast/alcohol. Not terribly charming on the Belgian aspect, but the raspberries are done well.
Again with the slight overabundance of sweet malt and moderate booziness. I suppose it doesn’t drink like that at first, the raspberries taking some of the focus off the size of the beer, but it definitely catches up and begins to fatigue the palate with an odd grassiness building up as well. A bit "thick" for my liking and just too sweet overall, but not quite undrinkable.

22 oz. bottle thanks to Willrunforbeer. Release number 5. Amber color with a pink hue. Aroma is huge raspberry! Big bold even with the amount of time this bottle has sat in Brian’s basement, awesome.
Flavor does well to showcase the raspberries. Carbonation is nice and mild yet still has a light tingle. At over 9% ABV and doesn’t show any notes of alcohol, would have guessed it was a 6 or 7 percent brew. The Belgian yeast has a nice presence, really enjoyed this.

Draft 12 Oz pour at the collective, as part of their Epic brewers night. I’ve never really been into this series, but this one didn’t offend me at all. Fresh red raspberry aroma. Flavor is sweet raspberry and cherry. Slightly medicinal in the finish, but not as much as the others in the series. High fruit finish. Pretty good.

Bottle - Nice sweet and a bit jammy raspberry. Pinkish orange with a decent white head. Sweet raspberry and light jammy qualities. Not bad.

Tap at Hathor. Pink-orange, hazy, with a fine, low head. Nose of raspberry and cream. A bit funky bitterness, raspberry, cream. Ok but a bit boring and for the weight, it doesn’t really deliver.

Bottle that my parents picked up on the last weekend visit to Lewiston, neither of them really cared for this, but it’s still pretty cool they ventured out of their comfort zone a bit. Pours sort of a dirty ruby color, smaller beige head. Nose is raspberries and sort of musty, along with the Belgian yeast. Similar in the taste, the Belgian yeast and the raspberries come together in a musty, funky, barnyard sort of way. Both yeast and fruit are relatively strong in presence, but I’m not sure it really shines in any way. Decent, but in small doses.
