Cask at Archie’s As Werewolf Extra Hot version. Special recipe for world chilli day. It pours clear deep brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toffee, cocoa, caramel, toffee, millionaires shortbread, pepper and some rich chilli The taste is is initial bitter - sweet, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, then the chilli pepper starts ramping, peppery, fruity, deep burn, some acidity and tingling sensation, but there is definitely some toffee, cocoa and wood in the malt base. Finish is lingering peppery chilli spice that persists. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Great condition, esp for a chilli beer. I probably prefer the regular version. Good for style though! 3.4
