12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. Pale amber with a thin white head and high carbonation; grassy aroma; soft with a grassy bitter taste; and a rather watery finish with a trace of spice.

Rcvd in trade.
The appearance has a clear golden color; is very transparent, has a very foamy white head that dies within thirty seconds leaving a messy foamy lacing sticking to the sides of the glass.
The smell has some sweet corn in the front and shows a somewhat grasy aspect to it
The taste is mainly sweet through the sweet corn. The grassiness helps to balance. There is a clean dry sweet aftertaste with a dry finish.
On the palate, she sits light on the body, comes across pretty sessionable as this would go pretty well with its respected food. Carbonation is pretty smooth - good for the style and good for me.
Overall, this is a pretty good American Blonde Ale that I would have again with its respected food or as the weather gets warmer if I lived in its distro.

Very easy to drink blonde ale, and usually not the best style for body and flavor, but this would be a good session ale if your drinking all day. On draft at the brewery, pours a cloudy yellow, large white head, hops and caramel malts in the aroma and flavor, easy to drink.

Blanchard’s, Allston sixpack ($10.69): Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of a little bit of bread, some straw, and a pleasant amount of hops. Basically, this beer is a refreshing and very crisp golden ale. Moderate amount of hop bitterness, and the hop character is actually pretty well done. Malt backbone is not the fattest thing in the world, but is sufficient for my palate. I thought it was good, though not extraordinary.
