We gave it the name ’23 Trees’ as a dedication to replace 23 ancient trees that were needlessly felled by our neighbour on the bordering land to our Organic farm on the Black Isle. We will replace these 23 Trees and will plant 200 more in their place.

Bottle from Cork & Cask and Keg at Cloisters. Clear golden body with a fluffy white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lime, lychee, grapefruit, salted bread and lemon. Flavour of bitter lemon, lime sweets and bread. Medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. A crisp, refreshing Saison - exactly as it should be. I’d like to see more frequent special-release beers from Black Isle.

Bottle from Master of Malt. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is bready, cracker, spice, straw and some grainy notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, burst of citrus fruit, lemon zest, grapefruit, sherbet, peppery spice, cracker and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad.
