Amber beer, thin white head. Smells of caramel and zesty fruit. Flavour follows suit, with those flavours and some boozy warmth too. Simple flavours but rather decent.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours loaded gold, transparent, with moderate, very fine white foam. Aroma is intensely fruity, but also toffee, honey. Body is somehow dense and with average carbonation. Quite a stickiness. Taste is both pretty sweet (at first) and with a nice accompanying bitterness, which persists in the final together with the stickiness. Overall, a very satisfying beer.

Keg at Casc, Aberdeen. It pours clear brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, stewed orange, marmalade, Turkish delight, orange blossom and bread. The taste is bitter - sticky, oily, orange sponge cake, baked goods, oily, kumquat, marmalade, light alcohol and fruit jelly. Finish is dry and zesty. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. A bit on the sweet side. Okay.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep brown to black. Nose - nuts and marzipan. Sweet toffee. Taste - mostly the sweet toffee side of things. Some nuts if you look for them. Palate - medium bodied plus. Sweet middle section and a finish that could be a bit fresher. Overall - decent, if a bit too sweet.
