Dark brown/black color. Nose has a fair amount of acidity with roasted malts and dark chocolate, a touch sour. Mouth is fairly light, slightly sour and aciditic. Ok balance. Lingering roasty finish. Too thin and sour for my tastes. Though not bad per se, I wouldn’t order again.

Draft - A smooth and easy drinking stout, with a creamy mouthfeel, and a nice balance of roast, intense bitterness, bittersweet chocolate, and smooth vanilla flavors - creamy texture - overall a very enjoyable stout, but I would not pay the bomber price for it.

Bottle. Batch 4. Pours with a near black hued body and a small tan off-white head. Aromas are of cocoa, dark fruits, fudge, baked bread, iodine and licorice, light ash, a bit intense. Flavors are of dark fruits, light pine like hops, roast, resin, iodine, pine, astringency, some herbalness. Not exactly what I look to drink. Lively carbonation, light acidity, more than light astringency, thin, medium cocoa. Not pleasant. Full carbonation. Not my favorite epic beer.
