Tap @ Cardinal. Pitch black body with a small, dense beige head.Aroma has dark, roasted malt, biscuit, chocolate and coffee. Medium sweet flavor of roasted dark malt, dry biscuit, mild coffee, hint of pine and moderate bitterness. Nice body and pleasant aftertaste. A fine, classic, straight forward, well made stout.

Can from LCB, consumed 2 months past BBE. Pours black with good sized beige head and great lacing. Notes of roasted malt, liquorice, coffee, light brown bread, dark berry tang. Light dryness with roast and spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Excellent.

Canned (from Alko Web). Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, roasted malts, toffee and very nice floral hoppy notes. Flavour is chocolate, some roasted malts, caramel and some floral hops with a wee bit coffeeish tones too.

Can at BBT 9/2023. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Assertive hops presence. High bitterness, med-light sweetness. Med-high roasty maltiness, coffee, cocoa. Med-high citrusy and dank grassy hops character. I would almost classify this as a black IPA. I like it, nice balance, easy drinking, tasty. Big one for me please!

BBT 09/2023. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of dark malt, light sourness from coffee with light citrus hops. Taste is chocolate, coffee, moderate citrus hops. Alcohol feeling in finish.

Can, big bubbly head, black colour, lively carbonation, grain, malt, roast and a bit of metal and coffee, medium bitterness, light dried fruity sweetness. Not too complex but really nice to drink.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Licorice, coal and tr up front. Mid dry with medium to full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and licorice from hard roasted malt. Long bitter finish with mild warmth. Innovative, yet traditional. Harmonious and pleasant.
