Keg at the six degrees north Edinburgh... Dark black... Small tan head.. Soft banana chocolate roast malts nose... Over fizzy.. Dry herbal banana... Soft toffee fruit

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - Bethnal Green. Pours clearish brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose has pleasant wheat bread, minimal toasty aspect, perhaps some ripening berries. Light-medium sweet flavour with more wheat bread, some dough, mild yeast, brown bread, faint bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more doughy brown bread, wheat, yeasty expression, faint banana. Pretty enjoyable. If I tasted it blind, I might not be able tell that it isn’t a straight-ahead wit.
