Draft at the new Hawkes Taproom in Bermondsey. Pours clear, light grapefruit pink, no head. The nose has nips of cherry, minimal apple notes. Medium sweet flavour, with more prominent cherry, a light medicinal-syrupy note, some ripe apples. Medium bodied, lightly oily, soft carbonation. Quite sweet on the finish, with cherry candy character, faint herbal notes, sugary apples. A bit sweet overall, and somewhat one-dimensional. Reminds me of a kids fruit juice.

Box @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours clear blood red, no head. Pleasant cherry aroma. Taste is clean, soothing cherry, easy-going with little in the way of actual cider apple, or even alcohol. More like cherry fruit juice.
