On tap at Uiltje Bar, 5.8%. Slightly hazy, pale amber with a huge, creamy, white head. Fruity-spicy aroma of ginger, pineapple, some cabbage and gooseberry. Slightly bitter, sourish-fruity, spicy taste of ginger, pineapple, some cabbage and gooseberry, followed by a short, slightly bitter, peppery-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Interesting, but not really my thing.

Keg at Het Uiltje, Haarlem, Netherlands, Wednesday 7th October 2015. Hazy light amber with a lacy white head. Nose is strange it’s a bit like slightly mouldy orange but also a bit of mushroom as well (weird and I am not selling it with that deScription) Taste is good, soft mouthfeel unusual beer, thick in the mouth. Unusual IPA, the Waimea certainly is different, not sore I am it’s biggest fan. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Tap n Haarlem. Glowing orange, hazy, low hed. Oily, fruity nose, stone and tropical. Sweetish malt. Sweet, fruity flavor, nice fruit, a bit dank. Body a bit thn.

On tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2015. Dark amber und light unclear in the glass, small white head. Nose: Citrus and grapefruit. Taste: Grapefruit bitternesswith caramell sweetness. More complex and taste than other single hop IPA. Nice one.

On tap at the bar. Thick white head. Clear light amber pour. Nice bitter aftertaste but not my favourite hop sort

Draught (Uiltje Bar, Haarlem) - Golden with a white head. Hop resin, grapefruit and a hint of onion in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly spicy taste with peach, hop resin, grapefruit and onion.

Tap at Uiltje bar. Clear amber with nice sized white head. Spruce, leaves, resin, dishwasher water, grapefruit rind. Some light sweet malts and caramel. Medium sweet with medium bitter finish. Different but nice.

Draft @ Uiltje. Aroma of herbal grass, smells like a witch’s poison. Tastes like that as well unfortunately, very herbal, veggie and bitter in a nasty way. The Brewdog Waimea single hop was just as bad, so it must be the hop.
