This was the first beer brewed back in 2016 at our brewery in Wheathampstead. A dark, golden ale which is crafted to be light, refreshing and highly quaffable.
Sovereign and WGV hops are delicately blended with carefully selected grains; producing a golden ale with great mouth feel and a perfect balance of malt and hops. Perfect any time of the year.

28/9/2018. Cask at the St Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2018. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, caramel, fruit and veg. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle at home from the brewery. Well chilled and a good pour into the tankard. The taste was that of a bitter, not a golden ale, but I am certainly not complaining. Very refreshing, cutting through the thirst to leave me satisfied, with a great low abv. It's not spectacular, but it is well made and perfectly pleasant.

Cask @ Cross Keys, Harpenden. Deeper golden with an extremely thin head. Steady but undistinguished session ale.
