WEST's first stout sits like a pint of fresh espresso with its smooth dark body and creamy long-lasting head, alongside a fudgy aroma and bold smoky flavours reminiscent of a French roast coffee. Notice the flavour profile change in the WEST Black as the temperature slowly increases in the glass.

Keg at West. It pours black with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, rich liquorice, earth, umami and coffee grounds. The taste is toasty, quite savoury, salted liquorice, pepper, coffee grounds and mild acidity with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not much depth to it really. So-so.
