Very very nice dark brown/red color, with a deep dark red glare coming through. Like the fruitesse framboise, that’s the good part. It’s not very different from that one. Again I don’t like the smell and taste, and it’s too low carbonated.

First time i tasted this: did not like it one bit. It reminded me of wine. This was during the winter season. After that i tasted it again in summer and now i still drink this every once in a while (local pub has a few bottles left). Love the sourish taste but it also has some sweet notes.. Tastes natural, not syruppy.

Danke an Kristall-König 9/10/11/10/13/10

Early amateur rating warning! Easy drinking raspberry beer, not too sharp.

Bottled. A deep red beer with only a rim of off-white head - quite flat when opened. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries as well as medium notes of almonds. The flavor is somewhat sweet with a light acidic edge on which is quite strong notes of raspberries as well as lighter notes of wood and almonds, leading to a dry, woody, and slightly tart finish. The body is light.

37.5 cl bottle shared with BigMomma. Dark reddish brown, small off white head. Giant yeast-berg floaters everywhere. Aroma is dirty, earthy, dusty, and fruity. Taste has a citrus start, a fruit middle and a sweet n sour finish. Nice character and complexity. Forgive the chunks.

Wow ! What an awesome brew. Bought at the Metro on Greber in Gatineau, Quebec. Best before date is December, 2012. Written 2002 - 19 on the cork. Pours a deep purple-brown-red with lots of yeast sediments (of different size and shape) floating at the bottom. Not much head and retention, which I guess is normal for this type of beer. Very nice aroma of raspberry with some Belgian yeast and slight sourness. The taste starts out with the sweet raspberry juices, then goes into the mild sourness and vinegar of a flanders red to then finish into the perfect mix of both of these worlds. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Very light dry and tarty finish. Love this beer ! Will have to get more for the cellar... now that I know that the best before date is a few lightyears ahead.

Bottle, 2010-02-20, Göteborg Can’t be the same beer as the other raters consumed! AR: raspberry icecream (hemglass) AP: plum colored body, !/2 cm high white head F: se AR!, medium bitterness, a bit sour. Not the best frambozen beer I tasted!
