Great Heck's take on a traditional Yorkshire bitter. Mahogany coloured, clean and dry, not too bitter with a subtle roasted malt flavour balanced by American Cascade and Chinook late hops for a more contemporary twist.

Cask, hand-pulled half-pint in the Old Red Cow, Smithfield London on 12th Sep 2014. Poured a good looking deep amber with a full white head. Malt lead in the taste with spicy hops winning the aroma battle. Seemed heavier alcohol wise than the 3.9% ABV, maybe the colour gave the impression it was stronger. Most enjoyable and easy to drink. Made a change from the light coloured, citrusy flavoured beers that were all over London on my visit.
