Steady Rolling Man 5.2%. Our pale ale. Inspired by the ridiculously tasty, hoppy beers we fell for, we got brewing our own versions, over and over again, whilst listening to the blues greats. The heady concoction of old time blues records and juicy American hops transfixed us from the start and the steady rolling man was born in these sessions! Incredibly soft and delicate with intense tropical fruit hop aromatics and saturation, this is our vision of the perfect pale ale.

A murky and golden beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has grapefruit, light mango, hop oils are there. Taste has grapefruit, but herbs decrese the freshness. Medium bodied. Pretty nice, even the herbs are not so nice.

On tap. Pours a dull hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of pithy orange, melons and wheaty malts. Flavors of bitter orange, dry wheaty malts, and misc fruit. Acrid finish.

Can with lunch in the holiday cottage on the last full day of the holiday. Long morning on the beach and a late lunch made everyone particularly ratty, which was a joy, so the beer was welcome. So this is the best beer in the UK at the moment then! Great pour and looks marvellous in the glass. Lots of hops on the nose and a really rich mouthfeel. It's smoother than a smooth thing on a smooth day. And for me it's too smooth and that's what brings the score down. I like a bit of jaggedness. It's still a great beer, but a bit too much like an alcopop.

Draft at The Woolpack in Bermondsey. Hazy pale gold pour. Creamy white head. Floral hop nose. Tangy citrus flavor upfront. Notes of lemon, lime, passion fruit and tangerine. Soft mouthfeel. Some dank citrus on backend, though it’s minimal. Enjoyable.
