We have a passion for flavour and a lust for hops — this frisky, fragrant pale ale is the result. Whilst consistency is (rightly) the benchmark of most beers, we’ve gone Wild with Fresh and thrown away the rulebook. Every six months we source some of the most exciting hops from both the northern and southern hemispheres, which means two hop harvests and two excitingly different hop profiles. Given the unpredictability of each harvest we’ll leave it to you to discover the individual aromas and tastes, but you’ll be guaranteed a punchy hop character alongside an appetising bitterness and a crisp dry finish that will send you back for more. This is a beer we like to drink all through the year. We think you will too. The first brew of Fresh has copious amounts of New Zealand hops in it. We particularly love the sherbet lemon aromas in the Southern Cross.

Can, 0.33l. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, pineapple, biscuit and grass. Pours deep straw color with medium frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with mild sweet biscuit malt, following is fruity and grassy, mouthfeel is smooth and light spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Not bad, but so indistinguishable...

Bottled, thanks Višnja! Misty yellow body, white head. Slightly funky aroma, light grapefruit. Creamy taste, clean light herbal notes and not that much else. Okay, but not much more than that in this shape, hope to rerate it at some point. Guess it wasn't... *puts on sunglasses*... fresh. *YEEEEEAAAHHH!!! :guitar:*

Bottle from Pivný raj. I may not be fresh enthusiast? Unusual yellow color. Strong hoppy aroma and taste the same plus some grassy notes. That's it, no explosion of freshness. I can go sleep now.

Bottle - Pours hazy yellow colour with a small frothy white head. The aroma is citrus fruits, grass and light straw. Moderately sweet and dry, with light malt, grass, and lemony citrus flavours and a citrusy bitterness in the finish.

Keg at the Salisbury Arms in Winchmore Hill. A cloudy pint and a lovely spiky and hoppy flavour to the beer. It really tickled the taste buds after the dire previous pint and put a smile back on our faces. So much so that we were persuaded to take part in the pub quiz. We came last, but won a bottle of red wine for the best team name. We used my 9 year old daughter's gaming name, "Cat Poop Ninja" and she is ecstatic that we won. We had another pint later in the evening and we agreed that it was the best of the night.
