Keg at the Kings Arms, 14/11/16, cheers to the Bald Wizzard and his arms! Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, toffee, brown bread, nutty pangs, light spice. Taste comprises toffee, biscuit, hints of peanut butter, airy malts, sweet licks, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Interesting mild, a touch on the sweet side but a flavoursome brew for 4.2%.

Keg at the Kings Arms - London. Pours brown with a creamy, khaki head. The aroma holds toasted grains, hazelnut, some dried cherry, mellow cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with ample toasted brown bread, more dried berries, vanilla. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more toasty bready sugars, toasted hazelnut, cherry, leathery berries, toasted caramel. Fun and enjoyable.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a near clear amber brown body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up a pleasing level of malt sweetened nuttiness, toffee and then lightly roasted malts flowing into caramel at the end of the draw. The taste delivers smooth nearly firm levels of chocolate and toffee leading into a bit of roasted malts and cinnamon and maybe nutmeg like spiciness. Pretty cool. Another sip pulls up a pleasing nuttiness intertwined with the toffee to near chocolate like notes. Nice full flavored Mild with plenty of body to keep it cohesive.
