Sample at GABF 2013. Pours near black with a medium beige head. Aroma of roast, coffee, light smoke and burnt malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the source. Deep maroon color, small brown head. Aroma of charred wood, espressompot that’s been on the stove too long. Taste is burnt espresso, bitter cocoa, ash. Decent stuff.
