On tap @ Animal. Orange colour with a creamy and large off-white head. Aroma is fruity and complex with light notes of caramel and a good rpesence of hops. Flavor has a decent bitterness, floral and fruity notes dominating mango and peach. The final has a decent bitterness with a moderate duration. Very good IPA.

The aroma is surprisingly light and fruity for a beer calling itself hopfix, with honey, melon, malt and a little grapefruit. Then, on drinking, those hops make themselves known, relegating the tropical fruit to a distant second pace. A sessionable beer.

Bottle as Ryehopper IPA. Pours clear orange gold with off white head. Nose and taste of salted pineapple, rye, spicy malt, tropical fruit, mango and resin. Finishes lightly spicy rye. Medium body. Great balance.

Growler pour from Whole Foods in Chandler, AZ pours clear deep copper with thin gold edges and supporting a dirty white head of foam that leaves behind spotty lacing. The aroma offers up citrus hops and some malty breadiness. The taste is citrus hops that mostly have soft edges and roll into a modest degree of sweet maltiness and then a bit of bread dough. It grows in citrus hop bitterness to midway and into the finish. Pretty tame and soft for an IPA but pretty darn tasty.

Bottle shared by Marcus as Ryehopper. Pours brassy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is mixed floral/spice - rather strong. Med body. It starts a bit sweet. Hints of rye spice. Hop then, then comes malt. Finishes increasingly bitter. Gettin’ bitter all the time. Subtle in its way.

Pours gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Sweet caramel and resin aromas. Medium bodied and well balanced with sweet caramel upfront turning to pumpernickel before the lasting bitter resin finish.

Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 09.09.2009
Aroma is quite hoppy with exotic fruits, gooseberry bush, some nettles and biscuits. Flavour is also rather hoppy with gooseberry bush, resiny notes, exotic fruits. Also a sticky feeling, from the rye I suppose. Good.
