On keg at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - dark amber to brown. More brown really. Nice head. Nose - light smoked ham note. Taste - gentle smoke with toffee. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy smoky middle section and a long smoke note through the finish. Overall - interesting doppelbock version of a smoked lager. Good stuff.

Keg at jocktoberfest 2016. Pours pale amber, nose is grassy, toffee, light smoke, taste is sweet, toffee, dry, needs more smoke - 3.5. Re-tried in 2017, tasting a lot nice but still needs more smoke - 3.7.
