Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear deep amber, minimal head. Interesting aroma of fruity, mildly peaty whisky. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity, sharp malt, lots of fruity mildly smoky whisky, some butter. Metallic finish with low bitterness. Mediocre beer in exquisit barrels.

Bottle from Aldi Inverurie. It pours clear deep reddish-brown with a decent frothy off-white head. The aroma is rich and sweet, sticky, jammy fruits, red berry, Victoria sponge cake, cranachan, toffee, warming whisky, honeyed cereal, twist of citrus and candied peel. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, decent hit of boozy action upfront, red fruits, jammy, victoria sponge cake, toffee, fudge, whisky, wood, resin, peppery spice, toothy and a touch of liquorice. Medium+ body and average carbonation. Probably my favourite of the serious. Whisky and base beer work fairly well together. Decent.

330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 8%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate to small white head. Pleasant aroma of Speyside whisky, notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla and berries, hints of rye bread. The flavour has some sweetness, but not too much. Distinct whisky notes, but still well balanced, with the same elements as in the aroma. Moderate hops. .

330 ml bottle. Crystal clear Amber color, mild carbonation, a few bubbles. Aroma shows me mild oak, real weak whiskey, toffee. Flavor is a total refection of the aroma; mild toffee, earthy grain, and a very subtle oak finish. Very average body and slightly thin texture.

Bottle shared with JFE and BG 15.09.17. Dark golden. White head and lacing. Aroma and taste of tropical fruits and malt. Malt is evident, and so is red berries. Quite good

Bottled 330ml (Viking Line taxfree)
Clear amber color, small white head. Aroma has whisky and oak, underlying fruityness. Medium-bodied. Whisky dominates, vanilla/oak, then caramel, light citrusy hops then quite empty finish. Light for ABV, not too alcoholic. Drinkable but not very interesting. Somewhat similar to some Innis&Gunn-products.
