Cask half pint at The Grill, Aberdeen. 3.8% ABV. Golden colour, thin white head. Moderate aroma of fruity / citrussy hops. Zesty flavour with tingling fruity hops on the tongue. Medium bitter finish. Good beer.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - canned apricots and ripe melon. Taste - oranges and apricots. Dry grassy finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - well the nose was incredible. The taste less so but still very good. Is this really a bitter? I’d say American Pale Ale.
