Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Royal Mile Whiskies. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Dry citrus peel in the nose, orange, some pale grains. Light sweet flavour, dry and flinty, some grass, flinty minerality, hay, a little astringency. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, quite bitter, some pine needles, grass, more dried citrus peel, more mellow astringency and flinty notes. So so overall.

Can from Vino Wines. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried leaves and earth. Flavour of marmalade and bitter, tangy hops. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Unusual and tasty.

Can from Good Spirit Co. It pours hazy orange - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, stewed orange, peach, sticky and candy. The taste is crisp, bitter orange, grapefruit, pithy citrus, peppery spice, grass and resin with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not as good as the pale ale in my opinion.

Can thanks to Jonny the brewer. Appearance - golden with a slight haze. It gets slightly darker as the remains of the can go in. Nose - mango and grapefruit. Taste - more on the citrus side. There’s a long bitter resin note on the finish. A little spice too. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry bitter finish. Overall - this one peaks on nose. The bitterness is slightly too much for my palate though I probably don’t speak for the mass of ipa drinkers.
