Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Hazy golden body with a sturdy white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of pineapple, toffee and (according to the Mrs) ’something funky’. Flavour of overripe honeydew melon and green stalks. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Light fizz. Sweet and rich. Enjoyable. With a bit more bitterness I think this would be sensational.

Keg at Redchurch. It pours hazy orange with a thick white head. The aroma is mellow, juicy, orange sherbet, persimmon, creamy and candied peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, grapefruit, waxy orange peel, apricot, alcohol boost, earth, straw and grass with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Fine enough, without being a game changer.

Keg at the brewery. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sticky juicy mango , orange blossom, tangerine. Spicy citrus on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of sweet grains, sticky citrus tropical fruit, floral honeysuckle, mango and lychee, palate is medium sticky hop resin, moderate carbonation, little prickly. I like this a lot.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours mostly clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pithy citrus, lemon peel, flinty minerals. Light to medium sweet flavour with some citrus presence, tangering, more lemony notes, flinty minerals, pale grains, bitter rind. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with piney hops, more rindy citrus, pale grains pale bread. Decent overall.
