750ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, replenished, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly citrusy, fruity hoppy and mellow malty, minimally oaty aroma, hints of orange and mandarine, some grapefruit, a touch of shortbread, perfumed lemon overtones. Taste is mellow malty, minimally husky, a touch of shortbread, citrusy fruity hoppy notes of orange, tangerine, some grapefruit and blood orange, lemon juice tartness, moderate hop bitterness, almost rye-like spiciness, residual sweetness. Quite rich, well balanced - goody.

Keg at We Brought Beer, CLJ, 16/05/16. Golden amber with a decent off White cap. Nose is biscuit, caramel, grain, earthy fruit rinds, light honey blossom. Taste comprises caramel wafer, toasted brown sugar, bitter orange, brown bread, airy malts, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with restrained earthy hop bitterness. Ok for style but fails to deliver on the ABV.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours clearvdark orange with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, oily, bitter-sweet, candied orange, peach, tangerine and icing sugar. The taste is bitter - sweet, oily orange, Cointreau, orange muffin, lemon drizzle cake, tangerine, light peppery spice and wood with a dry, woody finish. Medium + body and fine carbonation.
