Corked bottle. Amber color. Intense peat aroma dominating all other malt and dried fruit flavors. Malty sweet flavor with loads of peat, ash and whisky notes in the flavor. Dried tropical fruit coming up after all the peaty violence. Endless aftertaste. My favorite of the oak aged series so far.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. No head. Malty-sweetish aroma. Starts strong, malty, shar alcoholic notes. More and more sweet. Light woody hints. Finish still sweet and alcoholic. Okay.

Bottle as a gift. Chestnut brown colour, no head. Very soft carbonation (blame it on the plastic cork?). Nose of plums, caramel, brown sugar, smoke, and a light note of vinegar. Taste is sweet, smokey, tart and oxidized. Mmh, Although I like beers with peat this one isn't very well balanced. I drank other batches from Oak Aged that were even older and were much more balanced.

Smooth mild round beginning. The whisky and the wood is in the background. Caramel, nice wood and whisky. Great combination, very nice and round, refreshing and very mild. Nice! Very nice!

Sampled from 0.375 l bottle. Hazy, dark reddish brown with some beige bubbles on top. Slightly sweetish, rather peaty aroma of peat, ash, iodone and some caramel. Sweetish-malty, quite peaty taste of caramel, ash, iodine, raisins and prunes, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, rather peaty and a bit warming finish. Medium body, a bit watery mouthfeel, flat. Quite tasty, but the lack of carbonation makes it hard to drink.
