Bottle sample at Beers 2015 festival. Clear golden. Aroma of graininess, some leafy hops, malt, and a vegetal note. Grainy flavor with bitter "green" hops. Rather light-bodied.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that towered above the glass, lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dryish, perfumey, floral and citric hops. The flavor was dryish, bitey and very bitter with floral and perfumey hops. Long perfumey hop finish. Meh.

Sampled from the tap at the Oklahoma Craft Beer Fest. Pours a clear light dull yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light earthy pine with grass, a touch of grapefruit and a light grain backbone. Flavor has notes of pine, grass and grains with a hint of underlying grapefruit.

(bottle) clear yellow amber colour with a small white head; aroma of tropical fruit, stewed fruit; light, simple, but not unpleasant flavour with a long, light bitter finish

I don’t know if my palate was off on this one or what. It barely smelled or tasted like anything except a watery, slightly piney, bitter IPA. Like a more-hopped pale lager or something. Meh.

Stolen from work: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is pine and citrus and some tropical fruit. Taste is a bit on the bitter side. The finish is more fruity. Body is very light. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. Typical for the style... more or less.

Bottle. A- Citrus, oranges, grapefruit, piney, juicy, hoppy. A- Orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Subtle citrus, piney, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Starts off smelling kick ass and then kind of goes down hill from there. The juicy citrusy aromas just don’t translate into the taste and it is mostly piney and bitter. Eh.

Very light crisp copper coloured body with only a handful of other clothes and not much else. Medium-bodied; Strong bitter smell with a lot of grapefruit hops, some mild sugars and a lot of rice. Aftertaste is in middle, and shows some coffee, cream and bitter flavours with the nice middle tastes of sweet sugar still fresh in your mind. Overall, decent at best and not worth trying this one. I sampled this twelve ounce bottlRich deep dark brown coloured body with a bit of a brown and even ruby at the bottom tint, all with a very thin, half centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of vanilla, yeast, wheat, coriander seed, grass and quite a bit of hay noticeable. Medium-bodied; Distinct oatmeal and rich grain flavour at first with a good deep bittering coffee and roasted malt element, with the alcohol and pungency coming soon afterward. Aftertaste is a a very deep and bitter flavour of licorice, anise and a bit of absinthe - not too pleasant. Overall, a decent beer, but the lack of depth and classiness is lacking, which is too bad, because this could be great. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Springfield, Virginia on 18-June-2014 for US2,29 sampled at home in Washington on 25-April-2015.
