ambrata buona schiuma piuttosto persistente il naso non è molto intenso si avvertono leggere note maltate e luppolate un tocco di fruttato che ritornano in bocca molto il piacevole il retrogusto piuttosto secco luppolato anche se un po di dolcisatro tostato noccilola rimane

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a thick, off-white head. Mild roasted aroma. Malty, light roasted and light sweet flavoured. Light bitterness coming through into the finish. Light roasted lasting impression.

Hazy amber with small white head. Aroma of raisins and malt. Decent hops malt balance, pleasant enough.

Bottle form Waitrose. Reddish amber with no head. Aroma of caramel, red fruit and grassy hops. Flavour of boiled sweets (presumably caused by the pasteurisation), toffee and an earthy edge, with a short bitter finish. Disappointing.

bottle. Copper colour, creamy but quickly diminuishing head. Lovelly hoppy flavours dominate, malty background.

Rich copper colour with a thin yellowish head; aroma of toffee and apples; sweet in the mouth with raisins and sultanas providing a deep fruitiness over a strong malty body; slightly dry finish with residual sweetness. A full-bodied, warming, ESB. 19-May-2007 - 7/3/7/3/16=3.6

500ml bottle from Waitrose at 5.1% ABV. Golden amber with a thin white head; toffee apple aroma; sweet fruity taste with a malty body; and a burnt toffee finish giving some warmth.15-Feb-2014 - 6/4/6/3/14=3.3
