Bottle thanks to Ash. It pours clear red - amber with a thick beige head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, pine, very jammy, Victoria sponge, toffee and red fruits. The taste is dry, bitter, fresh, pine needles, orange peel, kumquat, resin, mind astringency, red berry, varnish and jam with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty delicious stuff.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep red brown with a lovely generous fluffy head. Nose - pine, pink grapefruit and a touch of something tropical, possibly passion fruit. Taste - more pink grapefruit, there’s a rosewater Turkish Delight thing on the finish. Some spicedays bread at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a really interesting and complex ipa.

Bottle thanks to jeevan. Pours murky red brown with a thin beige head, some floaters. Aromas of caramel, red apple. Taste is bitter up front, then malty sweet, more red apple. Bitter finish. Unusual. Long bitter linger, bit too bitter.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky amber/brown body with a medium beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of twigs, caramel and mashed strawberries. Flavour of earth, fig and strawberry syrup. Peppery finish. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Nowhere near as hoppy as The Cone. Not far from a Brown Ale really.
