650 ml bottle. Shared by Sander, thanks!
Black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of whisky, tobacco, soy sauce, cocoa, sherry, dried fruits, chocolate, subtle coffee.
Tastes similar, with more dry whisky barrel.
Medium oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes dry, medium roasty, wooden, warm, a bit alcoholic, with whisky, tobacco, cocoa powder,
Tasty. Well integrated whisky barrel, leading to nice, dry, wooden notes. Drinks pretty smooth for the ABV. Lovely, complex sipper.

650ml bottle @ Ruoholahti Beer Festival. Sweetish, roasty and grainy with some whisky, wood, oak and vanilla. A bit stuffy but pretty tasty still.

65 cl bottle @ Ruoholahti Beer Festival 2018
Aroma has bourbon tones, whiskey, oat and chocolate. Flavour has bourbon, chocolate, licorice and whiskey tones. Alcohol is present but not in a disturbing way. Not sure whether the whiskey was bourbon, but at least this lacks the oversweetness and strong vanilla tones bourbon stouts usually have. A nice and smooth slow sipper.

Original rating: Bottle @ Kings Day Tasting 2018. Opaque pitch black color with a medium sized brown colored head. Aroma is malts, whisky. Taste malts, whisky, booze, alcohol sweetness, malt bitter thereafter. Body is medium to full, carbonation is medium. 7-4-8-4-15=3.8 -- Tried it again August 25th 2018: loved it way more. Way more balanced, no boozyness, just lovely. Would rate it 4.2 now so I adjusted.

Oxford tasting
Black color, small head. Aroma of roasted malts and spirit. Good body strength, chocolate flavor, roasted coconut, touch of tobacco.
Very good, but I don't think it comes together very well, or that it's particularly rich.

Bottle picked up from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte, West Flanders, Belgium. Consumed at Builth Wells, Powys, Wednesday 30th May 2018 in the company of Jude, Baz, Isobel and Annasley. Pours black with a slim light cappuccino head, soft in the mouth, warmth from the alcohol comes through. Whisky shows, very rich but not sure that it is as good as a standard Boris. Very smooth, really smooth. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
