I am a red Halloween beer matured in a Highland whisky cask to bring together the wonderful worlds of beer and whisky.
Jon Beach of the famous Fiddlers whisky bar has carefully selected the whisky cask to complement this beer. Slainte!

Bottle courtesy of Craig (cheers Craig!) consumed at home Sunday 18th September 2016 now making a ’garlic and pork garrigue with roast cherry tomatoes’. Pours mid clear brown with some beefy stock and a little whisky on the nose. Tastes a bit oomphier than 4.5% didn’t like this at first but enjoying it more now. Left it too late to rate as finished it now. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

330ml bottle from (I think) cornelius. Pours a lovely clear mahogany with a thick beige head, nice lacing. Aromas of spice, light whisky, dark red fruit, cake mix. Taste us more fruit cake, whisky, light wood, rye spiciness. Very rich for the strength, long finish. Nice.
