Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, loads of Bourbon, oak, touch of dark chocolate, booze, vanilla. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate roasty bitter. Quite boozy. Body is above medium, could be a bit thicker for my taste. Hardly any carbonation. Boozy Bourbon slow sipper, rich and potent stuff, heavy, not great but certainly enjoyable.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Kris Wines way back in 2016. Pours black-brown with a small, bubbly tan head. Robust, moderately sweet, with light ashy bitterness, oily chocolate, some raisins, pureed dark fruits, scorched earth, charred toffee. Medium to full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Modest alcohol warmth in the finish, more compelling ripe dark fruit character, some bittersweet cocoa, bitter ash and earth. Good stuff overall.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, caramel and vanilla in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with dominant bourbon, vanilla and a hint of rye bread. No carbon whatsoever. Still a very nice beer.

33 cl bottle @ home. Black color. Beige "head" (barely anything). Aroma’s of bourbon, vanilla, sweetness, wood/tannines. Retronasal it’s bourbon, alcohol, sweet, light (sweet) fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, (sweet) fruity. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Hardly any carbonation. Finishes roasty, chocolate, light bitter. The label mentions coffee as ingredient, but I don’t get any of that. Nice, but some carbonation would have made it much better.
