Temporary rating. At some point I might re-write this. Black, rather small blackish brown head, quick diss, small to no trace. Sour,, malty, roasted malts, cereal, cheap red wine, hay, wood, caramel, red wine vinegar, Bitter, tiny sour, malty, tiny fruity, roasted malts, choc, coffee, cereal, otoasted oatmeal flakes, cheap red wine, raisins, prunes, hay, soil, wood, lemon zest, Round, tiny astringent, tiny tart, medium. Bitter, malty, roasted malts, choc, ash, coffee, hay, wood, oatmeal cookies. Bottle. Chocolate, dark roast aroma. Dark brown, low head. Fairly chocolaty flavour, coffee, a hint smoke, plentiful herbal, flowery aromatic hops. Dry sparkly mouthfeel. Citric, flowery hops and roasted finish. Pleasant.

Bottle. Black colour with a minimal tan head. Chocolate mocha roastad malt aroma. Strong chocolate syrup flavour with some coffee milk.

New Beer Distributors, NY 330ml ($3): Pours a black color with a brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some smoke. Taste is chocolatey, with a coffee bite. Some sugar, which lingers into the aftertaste. Nice amount of roast. Aftertaste is big. While this is not a big beer in Imperial Stout terms, it is quite substantial. Also, this is one of the better beers I got from this brewery.

Bäst före 2015. Bryggdatum okänt. Gissningsvis 2011. Riktigt mörkt mörkt brun med högt beige skum. Snyggt. Inte så stor dofter till en början, men när den närmasr sig rumstemperatur växer chokladaromerna fram tillsammans med sötlakrits, kaffe, soja. Munkänslan len, rund, smaken ganska söt, lite bränt socker, sedan växer en liten besk bitterchokladton fram. Riktigt gott, bra balans, antydan till madeira och torkade plommon i eftersmaken. Mums. Kanske närmare foreign stout än IS om man ska vara petig.

Draught. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of cold coffee, caramel, biscuit, toffee, dark fruit and some booze. Nice. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of coffee, licorice and ash. A bit light but very drinkable. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not very aggressive or "imperial" but still good tasting beer.

Bottle at the Bishops Arms Copenhagen. A very dark beer, smooth and with some lacing. Best served cool. Very refreshing with a gorgeous aftertaste. Slightly metallic taste which is typical for this style. Well worth drinking and I will order this beer again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at the Bishops Arms, Copenhagen. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, leather and tabbaco. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Smak och doft av mustig choklad, kaffe och vanilj med toner av nötter. Rund och len. Otroligt smakrik och välbalanserad. 7/2 2012 Rund och len, mäktig i smaken, väldigt kraftig chokladsmak och överraskingen är att beskan inte smakar bitter choklad. 3,7p

Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 210412
